EDF FreePhase Dynamic

EDF's FreePhase Dynamic is a new smart time-of-use tariff that varies daily based on wholesale pricing. Rates on this tariff do not change half-hourly like on the Octopus Agile tariff, but instead change between three set periods each day. This tariff also does not offer plunge pricing - though rates can drop to zero (free electricity!) during periods of excess renewable generation.

FreePhase Dynamic has three pricing periods:

🔴 Red (16:00 - 19:00)
🟠 Amber (06:00 - 16:00 and 19:00 - 23:00)
🟢 Green (23:00 - 06:00)
